I believe the Alpha course touches lives. I have seen so many people find a personal relationship with God and a quiet strength in their life after doing the course - me included - and it takes a proud man to say he never needs any help. Alpha is a non-pressured, and fun course, and it shows us how Christianity can be relevant and empowering to our lives. I've seen Alpha touch so many people over the years. Alpha is coming in 2012! Alpha is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed, friendly setting. Alpha is a great way to meet our church's mission: "...to reach all for making disciples of Jesus Christ." You are invited to the Alpha Orientation Dinner on January 12, 2012 (7:00-9:00pm) @ Cornerstone Church. After that, Alpha meets every Thursday for the next 12 weeks, and includes an amazing weekend retreat. Each session, people enjoy great food, laughter and learning in a fun and friendly atmosphere where no question about life or God is seen as too simple or too hostile…questions like—Is there a God? Why am I here? Where did I come from? Where am I going? Alpha is for everyone. People attend from all backgrounds, religions and viewpoints. Many guests that come to Alpha have never been to church, other may have attended church occassionally but feel they have never really understood the basics of Christian faith.
