Sound and Technology Committee:

Purpose:

1. Assure that CUMC's technical equipment and sound systems work.

Oversee the operations of the systems.

	Develop and provide training for interested systems operators.
	Develop and Maintain operating instruction manuals.

Advise the Pastor and the Church Council of equipment needs or problems.

	Conduct annual inventories of existing equipment and equipment needs to coincide with the budget call.
	Conduct other inventories as needed.

Oversee equipment repair procedures.

2. Assist individuals and committees with sound and technical systems to support the conduct of their ministries. Offer annually to assist or advise others at TUMC.

3. Maximize compatibility and inter-operability of technical and sound systems. Minimize duplication.

4. Oversee the development and operation of the TUMC web page. Consult with the Webmaster as needed.

5. This committee will also bring some "visions" to the Church Council of future ideas/dreams that help further the mission statement.
