Cornerstone meets Kosovo

Cornerstone Member Sgt. Will Young, serving with the KFOR peacekeeping forces in Kosovo, delivers relief supplies collected by Cornerstone UMC's youth group and mailed by generous folks in our Church.

Will writes:

I truly feel blessed. Not only did we make it through Kosovo's first free elections last weekend, but yesterday (mid October 2000) I got the opportunity to accompany the HHD 503rd MP Co Commander and the 503rd MP BN Chaplin out on a Humanitarian Aid Mission. I took with me some boxes that had been sent over to Kosovo from the Youth group at my church, Cornerstone United Methodist, Fayetteville, NC, and some candy that was sent to me by Dr. Dodd from the my old high school. We traveled to the Serb enclave of Klokott for our first stop.  There we passed out most of the things until we moved on to one more Serbian village to pass out the rest.

We praise God for your service for Him in Kosovo, Will!
